4th of July 2011!!

So, I am so behind on my blog, these picks are from 4th of July and I am just now getting them up, I am having a hard time finding time to update this thing!!

So we went down to spend the 4th with Amberlee, Dave and little miss Savanna. It was pretty fun times.....we had a little BBQ that Michael and Dave left Amberlee and I to cook and.....well.....we had burnt steaks, but don't worry, Michael came in and saved the day, after he scraped off all the burntness, they tasted pretty good...considering!! I think that it is safe to say that Amberlee and I are totally fired from the grill ;)

After our wonderful dinner we headed into town a little ways to watch the fireworks and they were so much fun!!! I just love seeing the kids faces when they start shooting them up in the air, priceless, especially Jake this year. It was his first time getting really excited for them, it was super cute!!

Over all we had a blast Thanks Dave, Amberlee & Savanna

Woohoo!!! We are in our 3rd year of Med School!!!

So this was a very bittersweet day!!! Today was the day Michael took boards, pretty much the biggest test of our lives ;) He has been working so hard for the past two years for this day!!! I am so incredibly proud of him and I must say...I am kind of proud of myself for being a single mommy for the last 3 months while he was cramming his brains out...just sayin ;) We are now done with 2nd year and we on to 3rd year....bring it on!!!! Love you baby, thanks for staying awake enough to go on our date :)

So can you tell that I am soooo ready to party now that Boards are over and Michael is ready to go to sleep ;)

Number 4 is on the way!!!!

Wow....I just realized how long it has been since I have been on here!! There has been so many new things that I have got to update, but the first and most important one is that.....we are adding one more little baby to this crazy family!! I am a little over 2 months along and my due date is Feb. 20th!! Everyone keeps asking if this new addition was a surprise...nope we have been trying since Jake was 6 months old :) Since our girls are so close in age and seeing how close they are with each other, I wanted that for Jaker boy too!! So ideally, I would love another boy so Jake will have a buddy but I am sure because of that, I will get a girl, which is totally fine!! It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if I had to doll up a girl ;) All in all, we just want a healthy baby!!

I have been having some difficulty with this pregnancy and my Dr. says this should be my last baby. There where some things that happened when I was pregnant with Jaker and things just never went back to normal, so my Dr. told me that the baby will most likely be fine but me on the other hand is gonna be in pain.... A LOT!!! Scary!! So far the only thing that is really painful is my lower left side and the lower part of my back, which is the part that never formed back, so that was expected. My Dr. says it is gonna get way more painful the bigger I get so wish me luck!!

On top of that, I am really sick with this one as well, but I figured I couldn't lucky enough to skip out on that part since my other 3 were the same way :) Ava and Makayla are my little buddies, they hear me throwing up and Ava rubs my head and Makayla holds my hand so I have a great team on my side ;) What would I ever do without my girls!!

Because of the issues that have been going on, I will be having more ultrasounds than normal. My first one, which was a few weeks ago showed that the baby was just perfect and that is all I wanted to hear. I am just very interested in seeing how having a baby while Michael is in the 3rd year will pan out. He will be gone pretty much for a whole year, I will not see him, I will be lucky if he gets to deliver the baby :) I am just so blessed to have my ward family so close to me, I know I will be taken care of and of course my mamma :) Wish us luck, this is going to be a crazy adventure!!

Our Princess carriage ride!!

So Michael had this planned for our Anni, but we got rained out so we decided that it would be fun to take the kids and I have never seen these girls so happy! They took us for an hour long ride up through memory grove and all around Temple Square. It was so beautiful and the kids loved pointing out buildings, flower and animals!! Michael and I both agree that we have got to do this more!!

Makayla wanted to get right up on the horse of course and Ava was the one pointing out anything and everything that looked really cool and don't worry...she made sure to point out the homeless men..."mom, why are pushing a cart when there is no store" yeah, a little embarrassing but it made for a good laugh ;) Jaker boy had no idea what was going on, every little noise he heard he would turn his head so his head was really dizzy an hour later :) and little miss Gracie...she loved it but she perfectly happy just snuggling up with me and there are no complaints there :) As for Michael and I, we had lots of fun watching the kids get so excited!! It was a blast, so glad we did it!!

I love Jaker's face!!

I can't believe how grown up my Ava is!!

CHEESE!!!

I really enjoyed Gracie's snuggles cause my girls we too excited about the ride that they forgot about me :) Last time I checked, mom's were way cooler than horses!! ;)

Here is the horse love right here, she was grinning from ear to ear the WHOLE time!! So worth the money!!

I just love my kids!! There is nothing better :)

Makayla had to sit like this a good part of the ride cause she HAD to see every move Jerry (the horse) made :)

We had so much fun and we are so glad we waited to take the kiddos!! I just love my family!!

Gracie is here again....YAY!!!!

So Miss Gracie got to come and stay at our house again and we LOVED it!!!!! She is so sweet to have around and my girls just adore her!! Gracie and Makayla are best little buddies and Ava loves to act like the big sister :) I hope she will want to come back soon!!

Isn't she just the cutest thing ever!!

Hehe...I probably should not laugh but Gracie was too funny, I was about to pee my pants!! Ava and Makayla thought it would be so funny to put there buckets on there head to be silly and Gracie thought that was the coolest thing!! She decided she would try it out and she lost where the handle was so it went behind her head so she got kind of trapped and all I hear is this sweet little voice "oh no, oh no, oh no" then she couldn't see and she started going around in blind circles....you just had to be there, what a personality...I love it!!

Gracie went in the bathroom and decided to doll herself up in the girls headbands :) Ain't she cute!!

So when Gracie was up here her first day Ava and Makayla were with Gma and Gpa so she was all by her self for a few hours, I thought she might be a little sad but nope....she went right in there as if it was her own room :)

Thank you Gracie...now Ava wants a pillow pet :)

Gracie thought Ava was a life size doll, she just feeding and feeding and Ava just kept eating and eating and I have no idea what Makayla is doing over there ;)

So they were being so cute, they had each other laughing hysterically!! It was too cute and this went on for about 10 mins. Adorable!!

Oh yeah...this was the picture where I told them to make their scary faces..haha....they look more like silly faces to me ;) Gracie's face kills me!! Oh how we are gonna miss you Gracie!!

Our 5 year Anni!!!

Wow...I have no idea where to begin!! It has been one long but at the same time very fast 5 years!! I can't help but look back and think about all that we have been through and accomplished in just 5 years!! As most couples, the first year is usually the hardest, or so I have heard from so many people, and that was the typical story for us but I can't describe what we have grown into and how we have grown so much as a couple but as well a family!! I am so in love with our life and our little family and I can not wait to add to it and I am so excited to see where we are in 5 more years, I am sure it will be even more crazy but that is what I love about our crazy, wonderful life.......bring it on!!!

So as our Anniversary was getting closer, we were trying to decide what we should to and all these really nice places popped in our head, we were gonna got o Park City but be decided to take it back about 5 years and go to a place that we loved when we were dating and to this day still love. It is called the Italian Place and they make the BEST Philly Cheese steak Sandwiches. We had a blast just talking and catching up with our lives since we rarely have time for that these days!

He had a horse drawn carriage as well, but.....it got rained out so we were gonna go see a movie but nothing good was out and we really didn't want to sit in a movie theater for our Anni. We were trying to think of things we would do if we were dating.....we thought of going ice blocking down Provo hill, haha, good times but no :) Thought abut going muddin but no truck :( So we went up to Gateway, an outdoor mall by our house, and we just went around looking at all different stores and acted like dorks :) He went and cashed a 20 dollar bill to give to the homeless cause he knows how much I like doing that :) Yep...it really felt like we were in High School again!! I would not have had it any other way, I am so in love with this man and he is just absolutely perfect in my eyes!! Love you babe!!

Attempting to take our own picture......

And again.....

and again...

Yes...yes again, geez you would think that one would be enough, but no :)

Yep...we ate all of it :)

Kerry is here...What!!!

So we were so lucky to have Kerry come to our neck of the woods even if it was only for a few days!!

She had an amazing opportunity to attend Quilt Market here in SLC and can I tell you how jealous I am of her!! She has made it to big leagues designing patterns for Anna Griffin....yep, you heard me right!! So proud of her and so excited to see what is in her future!! Love you Kerry, I had a blast chatting and getting to know you more!!

What is daddy doing playing with Barbies!!!

Can I tell you how happy I am to get these pics!!! Michael is a super macho man and he will never admit that he plays dolls and sips tea at their tea parties, BUT..... now I have proof!!! I have nothing against a little blackmail to get people to believe me ;)

We met Russell M. Nelson!!

So the other day I was getting the kids and myself ready to go a BBQ with some great friends and Michael comes home to tell about Russell M. Nelson coming to our church to talk to a few Medical students and give some advice to what we are about to get ourselves into and what we should expect.

Russell M. Nelsen was a Heart Surgeon so I knew that we really need to listen to see what he had to say as a Dr. as well as a church leader, it is not every day that a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles come to speak to us, so we unfortunately had to ditch the BBQ and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!!

So it was for families and once we got there I quickly realized that we should have left the kids at home ;) I didn't get as much out of it as I would have hoped but Michael did so at least one of did :) My first impression of this amazing man was how humble he was. He was just another old man making jokes and telling us stories that just had us all laughing!!

Afterward we had to opportunity to say a quick hello and shake his hand! The girls got so excited! We were waiting our turn and when we are up all that came of of their mouths were....I have a Barbie Secret :) He laughed and humored them a bit on the Barbie subject and we moved on but the girls loved him!! We were so fortunate to have been able to listen to him speak and take in all the wonderful advice that he had to share. This will be a moment that we will always cherish and I know my girls will too :)

JAKE letters for his room!!

I loved how these turned out!!!! I have had this project going on for about 6 months!! Does anybody start one project and then get too excited to start another one that you just drop what you are working on and start something new?? Well...I do that all the time and it drives Michael nuts ;) Anyways....it is finally done and it really completes his room!!

Jakers first OREO cookie!!!

So, I walk into the living room this morning to find Jaker chowing down on OREOS that Ava gave to him!!! What a healthy breakfast :) Oh well, seems like he enjoyed it!!

The mess just kept getting worse!!
