Oh, another one of Michael's wonderful ideas!!

So we have had a very exhausting day!!! Let me just tell you....about a week ago Michael was looking on Klode, this place where they auction off wrecked cars for cheap, and he saw this VW Beetle, why HE would want a Beetle you ask?!! If you know Michael you will be able to guess this one pretty easy....it was a Diesel ;) Michael has this crazy obsession with diesel cars and trucks!! Anyway, so this is how he tells me....I was getting the girls ready for the day and he comes in with this certain smile on his face, the one that I know he did something stupid!! "So, I just bought a car" he says. My face dropped, especially when he told me what it was and how much he paid for it, keep in mind these are wrecked cars, so there is always more money that you have to put into them, you could just imagine my excitement!!! I was trying to stay calm but it was so hard cause he always does this, he is like a little boy that brings home tons of animals, which he did that too, his poor mom ;) Anyways, we decide to go and take drive to go and check it out. I had seen pictures online of it so when I got there I wasn't expecting this beauty. When we were driving up to it, it was pretty much what I expected, until........I get into it!! The online pictures for the inside of the car were totally off! There was dog hair everywhere, soda everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE, their dog got onto the dash and there were 100's of scratches all over it that I don't think will buff out, there were not head rests, there was lots more but the best surprise that Michael was saving for me was that........it was a STICK SHIFT!!! Yep, he was grounded from ever buying car ever again ;) I don't like driving sticks, I can but I suck at it!!!

So, on top of all the bad stuff, there was more bad stuff!! The car had no keys, so when Michael bought the car he had no idea how many miles were on it....yeah, stupid,and........the battery was dead! So, we had to tow the beetle with the Jetta, yep I said the Jetta!! We had to tow it down the road about 20 miles. So, Michael starts to get the rope out to hook to the cars and as he is doing so he realizes that the back bumper, where it had been wrecked, was crashed into the back tire so it was rubbing really bad and we could not tow it like that cause our luck it would have caught on fire...lol!! Of course, we were not prepared for this so we were grabbing random things out of the car to pop the bumper back out. We tried the jack, the lug nut changer and even the snow scraper! That thing was being so stubborn but after a LONG time and Michael breaking MORE of the car we finally got it to the point that it was only rubbing a tiny bit and Michael was ok with the risk at this point!

So, I was driving the Jetta pulling Michael in the Beetle!! I was terrified, I have never towed something before so I thought this was going to be very interesting!! It started out a little ruff but I did way better than I thought, I didn't send the Beetle crashing into tail end of our Jetta, and that was the main goal...for me anyway ;) So we get to the dealership and get our keys programed and the car started right up and sounded really good, that is the only thing that kept me from beating Michael for his really stupid decision ;)

Now we are home trying to figure out if it is worth just trying to sell it for what we put into it!!! Ahhhh....he is so lucky he has one of the best pouty faces ever....seriously ;)

How rude!!!

Really?? One of my friends sent this to me and I really had to just laugh at it!!! I love being a mom and I love to cook, not so much clean ;) but holy cow, I could have never been able to live like this!!! I think this is very sad, I am just glad I have the husband I have today!!

Jaker Boy is charming the ladies!!

So me and Jake went to the grocery store this evening, the only time Michael could stay with the girls, and the poor guy was so tired but still in such a great mood as always!! I have no idea what Jake had written on this forehead but everyone was coming up to see him and I must say....he was totally eating it up!! He was showing off his little toothless grin, kicking his feet around with excitement and he would even throw in a few yawns or two and that would really make the ladies melt even more!! I guess there is nothing I can do....he is just a stud and I am gonna have to learn to share my little man ;)

Look what Thomas drew us!!!

So Thomas came to visit us this past weekend and the girls attacked him and wouldn't let him go for 2 days!! They forced him to do so much and as you can see up above, they made him draw EVERY princess and as you can also see, he couldn't draw them good enough for the girls standards, thanks to you Grandpa!! I say that because Grandpa came to our house a few weeks ago and would draw the girls princesses and it looked so professional!! Poor Thomas....his princesses didn't even compare, but if you ask me.....I think he did pretty darn good, better than I could have done!!! We love you Thomas and thanks for staying with us!! The girls are already going through Uncle Thomas withdrawals!!

So a few days ago I saw that Girl Scout Cookies were here....Whooo Hoooo!!! They are only my favorite thing in this whole world!! I told Michael that I was craving them and had to have them!!! He was telling me things like, why do you get those, they are the biggest waste of money, they don't taste as good as they cost!! I was seriously heartbroken :(

So Michael went shooting the other day with his brothers and guess what he surprised me with when he came home???????? YEP, COOKIES!!!!! That little stinker was teasing me the whole time!!! I love you babe, you are seriously the best hubby in the whole wide world!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE you!!!!!

Ava and Makayla LOVE to take pictures, even if we look retarded ;) That is what being a mommy is all about right?!!! I just love my girls and love their sweet, crazy personalities!! I see a different side of them everyday and I love it!!! Love you babes!!!

We went to the ZOO with Gpa and Gma!!

The girls had a blast at the ZOO this time cause they got to go with Grandma and Papa!! They couldn't wait to take them to all of their favorite places and all of their favorite animals!! Thanks for going with us to the ZOO Gma and Gpa, love Ava and Makayla!!

Katey's softball game!!

Little Miss Savanna, Little Miss Makayla and Little Miss Ava!!

We had a lot of fun yesterday!! My niece Katey made the Freshman-Sophomore softball team so we went down to here first game!! She did awesome but unfortunately she had a bad pitcher cause she hit her really hard in the arm, poor thing was so sore :( BUT she made it to HOME, YAY!!!

Ava, Makayla and Savanna were being so cute!! They were sticking their little mouths through the fence and when Katey was up to bat they would yell "GO KATEY, GO KATEY, GO!!!" It was pretty cute!! And the little girls were having the hardest time staying off the field, all those balls being thrown was like candy to them, like little puppies :)

Well, the game was over and Katey's team lost by 1....hehe (inside story)!! Katey really did awesome and we were so proud to be sitting in the crowd cheering for her :) They may have lost this time but they are totally gonna rock it next time!!

After the game, we all went over to Katey's house to have a BBQ, which was delicious, but we had a lot of fun chatting with the family!! Amberlee and Savanna came up from Cedar to the game and my little Makayla was so stinkin excited, and it was so sad when we had to leave, but we will see them soon in a few weeks for our spring break :)

Jaker Boy is CRAWLING!!!!

So Jaker is 7 1/2 months and he started crawling today!!!! Ava and Makayla are having so much fun sitting on one side of the room and calling Jake to crawl over to them!! I am so glad my kids get along so well!! He is getting so big and is growing up right before my eyes!! He is the only child that won't let me just hold him, he has got to be in the action of everything and everyone!! I miss when I could just hold him and watch a TV show or just go and take a nap with him, my little man is growing up....tear :( I just hope the rest will just slow down a bit but I am sure it will go just as fast!! I just need another baby ;)

Out with the old in with the NEW!!!!!

So, we bought a new TV today and I must say, I think I am more excited than Michael is!! It is so sleek and sexy and it looks just hot in our living room!!! So we are Med students, so you are probably wondering how can we afford this beauty???? Well, let me just tell you the stupid, stubborn story about me and our TV......... ;)

So we bought our FIRST TV about 7 months after we got married!! Yep...we didn't have a TV for that long, I know crazy but....what do ya do?!! Anyways, so we finally found a great deal on one the day after Thanksgiving, oh how I love Black Friday :) We were sooo in love with this new 37 in, haha, TV!!!

So a looooong time goes by and we move to Salt Lake to go to school. In our apartment we have this huge window that I swear is 20 ft long, anyways, it is a verrrrry small apartment and the only place to put the TV would to be in front of the window..yeah!! So we did and Michael told me, k now, don't open the curtains or it will hurt the TV!! Well I had the grand idea that I was gonna do it anyway cause I love the natural light, well to make this long story short.....Our TV died!! Yep....it would take us about 3 days to come on if it would even do that. The only way it would finally come on is if it got scolding hot enough to come on. So, what I apparently did that was a big NO NO was, I heated up the TV to the point that it would not come on unless it was as hot as it was outside, stupid me!!

Michael was so understanding about it! I still think it is cause he wanted a new TV but he says it is cause he loves me no matter what :) Love you babe...and that is how we got our new TV!!!

Makayla is pooping again...............

Alright, Makayla has been going pee pee in the potty forever but she still LOVES to poop in her panties!!! Ahhh, I could scream!! We have tried everything with her! We tried being nice, mean, guilt trips, nothing........AHHHH!!! I hope she gets through this stage fast cause it extremely frustrating!! She is such a sweet spirit though, it is really hard to get too mad at her!! Who knows maybe it is normal, I just go off of our experience with Ava, she potty trained herself by 2 years old, so maybe I am being to hard on Makayla, cause I know that potty training hardly comes easy!! Anyways, I better go get her out of time out now....

Leave it to Michael and Dave........

So, David came up last night so that him and Michael could go out to Casper, WY to go pick up this awesome truck that Dave bought at an auction. They left this morning at 4:30 and it is a 6 hour drive and their plan is to make it back by tonight!! Leave it to Michael and Dave to do something crazy like this!! The even crazier thing is, is that Michael is also bidding on a truck in about a week which is in Denver!! Then we will have to drive out and get that one too, what Michael will do :) It was snowing this morning so I hope they are being safe and not being the crazy little boys like they normally are!!

My Blendtec!!

So I have to say that this is the most exciting thing I have gotten since my Kitchen aid!! I am completely obsessed and in love with this thing. You will have to Google it!! Not saying that you would ever want to blend this but it can blend a rake, an ipad, cubic zirconium and so much more!! I am about to order one cause I have the best hubby in the world and I love that he loves my totally awesome appliances as much as I do :) Seriously, can't wait!!

Jakers first word!!!!

So Jaker said his first word today and take a guess to what it was.........MAMMA!!!! That is right, it is driving Michael crazy but I am SOOOOO loving it! Jake is a mamma's boy for sure :) Of course he only says it when he wants something but that is ok, I can live with that!! Love you Jaker boy.......muah!!!!

Our first time at the Clark's Planetarium!!

Our MSA group went to the Clark's Planetarium yesterday and the girls had so much fun walking in the Moon and on Mars!! The best part was that the girls got to run their hearts out and it was FREE!! I never knew that this part of the Planetarium was free, we will be going again soon!!

ZOO!!!!

Makayla had a break down, (we always have at least one when we are out somewhere..lol) cause daddy left without her, sad!!

So we bought a ZOO pass when we started Medical School cause it gave us something to do while Michael is gone all the time and it is literally just a mile down the road and the girls are seriously obsessed with that place!! We have lots of fun when we go, especially when daddy gets to go with us :)

Speaking of daddy with us this time...we were at the Gorilla encounter today and Michael had tons of fun with him and so did the girls! The Gorilla was totally playing with Michael, chasing (through the glass of course) each other back and forth and banging on the windows and playing peek a boo!! Oh my, I must say it was so hilarious!! I only wish I had my video camera!!

There was this baby Orangutan that Michael's Medical School professors delivered, and I just wanted to take her home. She would come up to me and follow my hands everywhere they went on the glass and she would put her sweet little hands under her face and just look up at me with those sweet eyes, man, she already knows how to melt hearts!! It was kind of a sad day for her though, they are weening her off of her mom so the baby was in the room all alone :( She would...get this...throw up and......eat it, BLAH!!! I really think she was doing it cause she missed mamma and she was totally board, even as sick as that was, I would have taken her home in a heart beat!! can't wait to go see her again and to see how much she has grown!!
